Ehhhhh... Amazing customer service. It's really easy to talk to someone. Pretty quick turn around time for referrals. However, they use Maxor pharmacy which SUCKS!!!!!! You pretty much HAVE to use their online pharmacy and the pharmacy gets to decide what meds you get to take. If USFHP would drop Maxor, it would be better.
I am entirely fed up with this insurance. You have to contact them multiple times to do ANYTHING! Currently dealing with them to pay for my dermatologist appointment the to had the PA for. The bill was sent from the parent company of the office and they denied it. This has been going on for 7 months. All of my breaks and lunches are tied up holding to talk to an agent. Why is this mismanagement and delay in care allowed?
Excruciatingly long waits for diagnostics and treatment thanks to sloppy administration. I can hardly wait to be done with this terrible insurance company. Their number one priority is money; while patients suffer long wait times for care...or die before they even get care. There is a severe shortage of doctors, and it has become impossible to get in touch with anyone for assistance. They no longer answer phone calls, nor do they respond to messages through MyChart. This plan is definitely better than Tricare prime within the service area of JBLM in greater Seattle. Given the overwhelming demand for free healthcare, it's understandable that you have to wait. It's totally free and the service I received is solid! Authorization to see specialist sometimes take long to approve and sometimes pretty quick. It's a hit or miss based in the exact situation of the wait time. I'm still overall pretty happy to have a total free healthcare with private network access.
