I was directed on the protocol of what my patient care would be, by the director of the center … I believe the owner … which was then followed up with the facility doctor with all the steps of what I was guided to do. I had my 1st visit A1C 7.1..put me on no artificial sweeteners..no diet soda,tea,coffee..Joyce Shea was very knowledgeable and explained situation very throughly..now I need to read over the packet and let it sink in ..homely will do better ..plus is she does wound care also.
My experience at U.s. Diabetes in Morristown they constantly change doctors and secretaries every time you and when you call up there, the secretary is rude and constantly hangs the phone up on you and they don’t give you answers back and one time they did not give me my insulin and my sugar was high. They didn’t care they hung the phone up on me that’s why I choose to go to another diabetic doctor.
How I was treated over the phone today was unexcuseable. I’ve been out of insulin for a day being a T1D! Finally she said she would give me 30 day supply after calling 6 times but never sent it in! Here I am 2days without insulin. Thanks a lot. Wish they would have told me they weren’t giving me insulin when I requested a refill last week! My appointment is next week and didn’t want to give me any.
