If you have the right seat and are paying attention and not playing on your phone as I saw many people doing during both the Creature Carnival and the Halloween Avett Brothers concerts. Speaking for myself I found both nights to be amazing I could easily see the stage and could hear the performers very well the staff were very helpful in answering all my questions and helping me find my seat, I felt safe at all times during and after the concert. Maybe an adequate place to watch a basketball game but it was not a good concert venue. Saw The Avett Brothers last night and the sound was bad, the VIP setup behind us meant constant loud comings and goings, and even the staff was holding conversations just behind us. Would not recommend.
Just attended the Asheville symphony orchestra music of McCartney fund raiser at the US Cellular center. The venue: a tired very dated auditorium with impossibly bad acoustics, with peeling paint, rusted and broken bathroom fixtures, primitive lighting. Sitting near the front right, I counted 23 side door openings and closings during the performances, including a table being carried through the stage door! Asheville Comic Event is great. everyone should have the chance to go back in time to the days that they really enjoyed the comics. there were so many great artist there. employees for so very helpful even when the elevator door closed on me.
