I have used this branch for over 30 years. Nearly 2 weeks ago I stopped in requesting $100 worth of $2 bills. The rep told me he would need to order them and would have them the following Wednesday. I returned for pickup and was told the bills were never ordered. The rep took my contact info and assured me it would get done and I would be contacted. Still nothing! Seems like a simple request and needed for a special event.
I have been coming to this branch for like 10 years now and have seen its up and down. I honestly think US bank is one of the better big banks. I always have good experience at this branch. Yes, I did have to wait for more than 10 minutes a couple times. But I had waited over half an hour and even over an hour once at a couple other big banks. Visited multiple times. Staff was always courteous and had no problems with the branch whatsoever.
I just don't get the Issaquah/Gilman branch anymore and totally agree with the previous recent review(s). It seems like a lot of money was spent on an extensive remodel, but no thought was put into improving customer service. It was honestly better BEOFRE the the remodel. For the second time in 3 weeks, this branch was convenient and I had a simple transaction that required a teller. Both times the branch was under-staffed (1 teller at peak hours). I’ve been a loyal customer for over 30 years, but after today, I’m officially done with this bank. I went in to deposit a large amount of cash — I was the only person in the lobby, and there were four bankers walking in and out. One teller I thought was going to help me came back in, started processing checks, and looked completely bothered that I even needed assistance.
