What good does having a brick and mortar bank office when you can only interact with a teller if you drive to the location and walk in? I can deposit funds via cell phone or deposit cash at an ATM location but I can't do a voice inquiry using a phone from my residence. I know there are live humans in that building. I went to US Bank to notarize a car sale, but the experience was frustrating. The manager, Shaun, asked irrelevant questions and refused to notarize our signatures, citing “US Bank’s policy.” Despite having used their notary services for a similar transaction before, Shaun was dismissive and unhelpful.
