1 star – Avoid this branch if you value your time. I’ve been a U.S. Bank customer for years and generally like the bank, but this particular branch is consistently the worst banking experience I’ve ever had. Make sure you have literally hours to spare if you plan on visiting, because the wait times here are ridiculous—even when the line isn’t long.Most of the time there are only 4–5 people ahead of me (sometimes fewer), yet I’ve still walked out without being helped on multiple occasions (at least 4–5 times in the last year)... read more
Went in to the branch to open an account for my teenager to direct deposit his earnings. I have been a client for over 30 years mind you. I proveded them my real id, my teenagers real id and social security card. Was told it needed to be reviewed. Didn't hear anything back from US Bank corporate about the account. Called them twice to see the status. They want me to go back to the branch and provide the documentation I have already given them. I really appreciate and value banking with US Bank, especially the Monticello location. They have some of the best online and app services but also their in-person banking experience is terrific! I love the new-ish check in when you come inside and get checked in to line. I love their banking app; it is really easy and user friendly, very intuitive to use. This is a review on US Bank in general. DO NOT bank with them!! They will close your account without letting you know and withhold your money for who knows how long. I’ve also been told that some customers never even received their funds. This has caused me a great amount of distress! My 2 year old is disabled and I need to be able to provide transportation and care for her daily to all her appointments that she literally has everyday. Stay away from this the company as a whole!
