** Attention Military Veterans** Tell your doctor or the facility your about to get your procedure done to not have anyone with this company do your procedure. The worst billing company. Two times I asked them to run both my insurances they said they did. I was told I owe nothing. Next thing I know a collections company calls me about my bill saying they don't run the second insurance. Huh?? I know medical claims process. I never got a call from a collections company before.. Over the past 3 years, I have seen Dr Curtis and my wife and my 2 sons have seen Dr Curtis. My experience with U.S. Anesthesia in Carrollton has been excellent. The entire staff is great.
Worst company I’ve ever worked with. I was billed for my surgery and met my deductible so I don’t have to pay as much for anesthesia. Firstly, they billed me by spelling my name incorrectly so they billed me the full amount without co insurance applied since insurance couldn’t find my policy. I called them and asked for this issue to be resolved so then they send me about her bill saying the same issue. I am incredibly disappointed in this health care provider. This group has poor patient communication between their billing department and patients. Despite calling on multiple occasions over several weeks regarding a request for updated coordination of insurance benefits questions, I have not received any return calls regarding my messages. Received an $8,500 bill for a standard epidural done by a nurse anesthetist, plus an identical $8,500 for the Anesthesiologist that she worked under, but was never in the room, along with a note that this was NOT a double bill. $17,000 for a standard epidural is OBSCENE. I’ve had 5 children and this is the only time I’ve been billed more than $3k. The epidural cost more than the entirety of my birth and hospital stay combined.
