I had an appointment w/Dr. Gennaro at 0805, on 19 Aug 25. I was then turned over to medical tech "Jo" who completed the balance of my appointment. At 78 I've been around the best and worst of medical techs and I will state for the record that Jo not only knows her job very well but to me has something that is very important to me as a patient. Worst doctor’s visit I have ever had. The nurse practitioner, Cameron Herring, was extremely rude and unsympathetic from the moment she walked in. I understand having a bad day, but don’t take that out on me. As soon as she started speaking to me, I instantly wanted to leave. Her mannerisms and facial expressions made me feel like I was an idiot any time I asked a simple question. Never in my life have I spoken to anyone who treated me with such a lack of empathy and understanding.
I had been going to them for almost 20 years and then told that I needed a referral because it had been 5 years since I had been there. Staff was hateful. I have two kidney stones and will never go back to them now that Dr. Brown has retired.
I read through the reviews. Complaints again and again about staff or lack thereof. There are a couple of positive reviews about the doctors, but terrible ones about a poorly run practice. Responses always say that they are short staffed and working on it. They are hoping and expecting improvement. Wake up, Urology Specialist management.
