I was sceptical about all the bad reviews but no, they're well deserved. I was referred here a week ago. Didn't hear anything from them. I called and called and called and eventually got through. They told me that they were actually closed for lunch. So I call again later to try and make an appointment. They tell me that they don't accept my insurance, which is anthem. That's a major insurance company! And that's why they never even bothered letting me know when they received my referral.
Made an appointment a month in advance, gave my insurance info. Then got a call one day before my appointment to be told that they don’t accept my insurance. They need to get it together. Unbelievable! Thanks for wasting my time!
They never answer the phone and the when they finally answer after an hour or so later she was rude
I strongly advise against choosing Urology Specialists of Nevada due to their lack of professionalism and mismanagement. Reaching their office is nearly impossible, especially on Fridays. I called to notify them I was too sick (with an unrelated illness) to undergo surgery scheduled for the following Monday. Despite my efforts, I was met with nothing but a busy signal, leaving me unable to contact my doctor or his staff. This lack of communication led to unnecessary frustration on both sides. This place is very unpleasant, unprofessional, rude and insensitive to their customers. Doctors are more concerned and focused on their own liability than their patients. Front staff and the medical assistant are very unprofessional, rude and disrespectful towards patients who already suffering from their own medical conditions then have to deal with the unpleasant, unprofessional, rude and poor customer service.
