After trying to reschedule an appointment by calling, leaving messages, being put on the call back list, trying to contact other sections of their staff over and over again, I have not received a single attempt to try and make contact back. This shows lack of profession, and if I were to have a serious problem where I needed to ask someone a medical question, I would not be able to get one which would then cost me a lot more money just to go to a different doctor about it. Never answer the phone. Can't get the info I need because I get put on hold immediately without saying a word and stay on hold until you give up. When it comes time for the vasectomy I sit in the waiting room for almost an hour before being seen. And when I'm told to bring A specimen in on my next appointment date I am giving no time period. I got taken back just a few minutes after my appointment time. After the preliminary questions my PA came in after just a few minutes. She (Brooke) was very friendly and personable. She addressed all my questions and concerns and I left feeling very good about my visit.
I’ve had zero problems with Dr. Sanders. While he may not be a big chatty guy, he does care about his patients. If it wasn’t for him, I may not be here today. His staff is always kind and eager to help. The only downfall that I’ve had? Was the phone system. I gather it’s been complained about time and time again and that has nothing to do with Dr Sanders. It’s Sentara. I highly suggest this doctor.
I saw Dr Sanders today for the first time. Never took a urine sample before seeing me. Never read my q and a sheet that was part of my pre check in. Did not take the time to read any notes prior to seeing me. Gave me a prostate exam without asking me to bend over. Gave me incorrect info about medication prescribed this month from the "VA Cancer Center". Never saw them or was ever told I had cancer. I would never go back to see this unprofessional " doctor"
