I made an appointment yesterday for an appointment today. I was told that I would be the first patient of the day for Dr Singh. I showed up early. A few people went in before me, but the nurse called my name about 10 minutes after my appointment time and brought me back to one of the clinic rooms. Dr. Paul Kaplan is truly an exceptional physician with an equally outstanding staff. After findings on a CT scan and with a history of cancer, I was understandably anxious—but Dr. Kaplan got me in right away and immediately put me at ease. He is the kind of doctor every patient hopes to find: compassionate, thorough, and an excellent communicator. He did great getting me in ASAP for my 11mm stone and lithotripsy procedure but they did not follow up (on an anesthetic procedure), they attempted to schedule no follow up Appt either. And didn’t reach out to me about getting my stone sample! That should have been my first clue. Now my biggest concern (which is making me switch urologists) is my recent visit. I went to the ER for basically kidney pain, headache, lethargy and vomiting. They did a UA, urine culture and CT among other things. The ER doctor and the radiologis... read more
