Dr. Arkfeld was very dismissive and unhelpful. After taking a quick (we’re talking less than a second) look in my nose, he said “you have a slight deviated septum, but there’s probably nothing we can do (or that would help).” I kept pushing him asking him about options and other issues and he responded with that he could do a more comprehensive exam but it was billed separately and probably wasn’t worth it. I don’t think I could ever adequately express my appreciation for Dr. Arkfeld (and his nurse/assistant, Kyle)—I made this ENT appointment after over 2 months of struggling with a perpetual sore throat and multiple unsuccessful trips to urgent care. Dr. Arkfeld put me on an antibiotic for ten days and promised we would figure it out together, even if the first round of medication didn’t work (luckily, it did!).
