We had to rush our sweet boy Nemo here on Sunday 6/14, staff was very caring and after the blood work it was determined our baby was going through kidney failure and shock. We made the difficult decision to let him go. They were so gentle with him. We picked up his ashes last night and the staff had surprised us with a card signed by everyone saying good bye to our Nemo. A wonderful experience, from beginning to end. As Soon as you arrive, you check in on the iPad someone comes out, greets you and takes you to your room. They immediately triage you, doctor comes in, talks to you, does whatever exam needs to be done to the pet, and provides a diagnosis. It was a wonderful experience, and I will be sure to use their services on a go forward basis if I ever need to take my pet to an urgent vet again.
2 stars for the friendly staff, but overall this was one of the most frustrating veterinary experiences I've ever had. I brought my 19 yr. old cat in for limping, vomiting, decreased appetite the day before, and possible blood in his stool. My biggest concern was the potential blood in the stool, especially when combined with his other symptoms. I even brought a stool sample with me. I brought an injured cat someone had thrown from a car, to this veterinary office hoping they would offer guidance, compassion, or at least basic emergency options for an animal in distress. Instead, the response I received was deeply disappointing. I explained that I saw someone toss the cat while visiting family in the area and was trying to do the right thing.
