I took my cat to Urgent Vet because it was a weekend, and I did not want to wait until Monday to call my regular practice. The staff and vet were wonderful; they were very professional, thorough, and caring, explained everything in detail, including what to expect in his recovery (he had to be sedated for a procedure) and offered suggestions for adjustments to his diet to prevent the problem from recurring. We have an 11 year old Miniature Dachshund and we cherish her. We divide our time between Atlanta and Durham. When we're in Durham and need to see a Veterinarian, we use UrgentVet. They share, back and forth, the care of our Pet with our Veterinarian in Atlanta. It is extremely easy to reserve an appointment at UrgentVet with their Online Reservation feature. I took my puppy here because he wasn’t feeling well, he had diarrhea and vomit. I didn’t have to wait long to be able to get in a room and be seen. The staff including the doctor were all knowledgeable and friendly. They took great care of him and were upfront about prices and treatment before they did anything. I would recommend this place to my friends and family and I would definitely be coming back if the need is there.
I have brought my cats three times to urgent vet. I have been so impressed with the level of care and professionalism about this place. I really like that there are appointments as well. We dont have to wait like other places. I would always use this place when needed. This is LOKI - he had a urinary tract issue. Thank you.
