My poor kitty had an eye problem that needed to be looked at right away but none of the local vets in my area were able to see her. Thankfully I was able to get in at UrgentVet right at 3pm to get her some help. The staff was kind and knew just what to do. My only complaint would be the business hours and having to wait for 3pm to roll around but my cat wasn't at death's door so that's small potatoes. I appreciate the help all the same!
We took our dog to Urgent Vet because we suspected he had a foxtail in his ear after a long hike. The visit cost $135, and although our original reserved time was scheduled for 6:38 PM, it was pushed back to 7:08 PM. due to another pet emergency, which we completely understood. What was frustrating was that, after the brief exam, we were told there wasn’t much they could do because they were closing soon (at 8:00 PM) and that our dog might require sedation if a foxtail or anything else needed to be removed. They got me in quick, gave me a quick diagnosis, and were patient enough to debate on the price quote to something I could manage. Koda is now happy and safe (and apparently well loved by the staff).
They did a great job with our little dog who had an allergic reaction. She went in with me thinking she was moments away from anaphylactic shock and came out good as new. They were fast. It wasn’t super cheap but also wasn’t as expensive as I thought it’d be, but when your pet is in trouble it’s hard to put a price on that so focusing primarily on the service, the whole staff was incredible, kind and saved our little girl.
Thank heavens they were open until 8pm. My dog ingested poison about 7pm. We rushed him in, and they were able to start the healing process with my dog. It took further care than they were able to supply at the time. But they got me hooked up with a pet hospital for the rest of his care. I would definitely use them again.
