I arrived at Urgent Care last week. Upon entry, I followed the instructions to sit and wait to be called for registration. When I approached the registration desk, the Registration Clerk - a Filipina woman with straight hair and bangs spoke to me in a very unfriendly manner. I was feeling extremely cold and weak and needed medical attention, but her tone made me feel as if I was being looked down on. So the staff at Seven Oaks are amazing!! They go way beyond what they have to. The only issue there is how they are treated and understaffed. They are stretched so thin its frightening. Wait times would be be down to a third if they were staffed properly. I felt like they were not even staffed enough for their own safety. If there was a big emergency that happened in Winnipeg the Hospitals could not handle it and thats what scares me. This was a very disappointing experience. I waited 6–7 hours, yet patients who arrived after me were seen before I was. I came in with difficulty breathing, which made the delay especially concerning. The staff were unprofessional, and the overall care was lacking. The experience felt discriminatory. I will never recommend anyone going and if u want to take food , chargers, camping bags.
