Finally decided to have a physician diagnose a chronic cough I had for 2 weeks. The closest open facility was in the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, in Penn Yan, New York. Choosing to go there was a very brilliant choice. The staff, receptionist, attending nurse and Physician were some of the most professional, efficient, personable people I have ever met in a medical environment. I don't recommend going here ! Ur just another number to them ! Over charged me. Take in mind a had an allergic reaction to some kind of bite. Arm was swollen . And didn't do anything but tell me to take a Benadryl lmao 🤣 5 min in the business and 300 bucks later . Total RIP OFF Urgent Care in Florida was more personal and treated me like a human being .
If i could give it a lower rating I would. Super unhelpful and refers everything to the ER because "we are not equipped for that" over simple things like seeing if you have an ear infection or if you might have a sprained wrist. You know the simple things the Urgant care was suppose to take care of so the ER isn't flooded with simple procedures. And dont forget they close on a random day almost weekly so may the odds be in your favor if you have to visit here.
I live alone. I had 2 moles on my back removed Tuesday at Roswell in Buffalo and needed to change the bandages today. I phoned to make an appointment and was told they couldn’t do that because they had no billing code and I would need to hire a home health care nurse to change the dressing? I told them they are ridiculously narrow minded. I called an urgent care in Geneva and they saw me right away and I was in and out in 20 minutes.
