I had a 2 o’clock appointment, there was only one other person in the waiting room, they put me in a room and forgot about me. I was waiting over an hour. When the doctor finally came to see me she did the bare minimum and sent me on my way.

1 star is too many! We called before going, to ask if they give allergy shots and were told yes, after assessment by the practitioner. We waited over an hour, only to be told by the nurse practitioner, Kimberly Anderson, that whoever told us they give allergy shots is wrong and they would be “insane” to do so. Instead she recommended Flonase, to be used as long as needed, despite telling her that not only has Flonase not worked in the past, it has caused additional congestion. I really think the people that downgrade Pismo Beach Urgent Care are downgrading it because they may have to wait a while, depending on time of day, before they see someone. Because i can't see them downgrading for inferior advice or practice, which is, after all, the #1 priority, in my opinion. What is important to me is quality of care, and that is where I give them the highest marks.
