Their urgent care charged over $1300 for an urgent care visit where a PA spent only 5 mins with me. He confirmed MY OWN diagnosis and sent me off with meds. The bill came with “professional services” listed as an item charging over $650 just for that nondescript item. There was no diagnostic work, no blood draw, no imaging… but somehow they feel justified to charge this amount. Never again will I ever go to a Marshfield Medical Center! I was billed $500 for 5 minutes with the doctor. I visited this location in July with a fairly obvious case of pinkeye. I just needed some antibiotic drops. The doctor took one look at me and wrote the prescription. He was in the room with me for less than five minutes. Do not go here unless you have a lot of money. I did not have an emergency but they billed me as such. I got a tetanus shot and they wrote me a script for some antibiotics. They billed me over $300, which I thought was a little much but, I get it. Then they billed me again, with my total being over $700! Apparently, the facility bill is separate from the medical bill, something like that. So, yea, over $700 for about 15 minutes. Not recommended. The way they charge, your funeral might be cheaper.
