I’m writing this review because I had a bad member experience at the Kaiser Permanente’s Panorama City Urgent Care Sunday morning July 20. I came here because I have had great past experiences and have on some occasions seen a doctor in about 30 minutes. I went to Urgent Care there because I felt like I had a sinus infection and painful ear pressure and some hearing loss. Most people just want to post their negative reviews so you miss out on all the really good ones. This review is to thank Dr. Atoosa Hosseini who quite *literally* saved my life this past weekend. I showed up to Urgent Care with extreme pain in my left calf, she did all the necessary tests to find a DVT in my left leg. Most physicians could have sent me on my merry way with blood thinners but she went the extra mile to order a CT scan of my lungs, just to be safe. Really awful experience here today. Years ago, I had Kaiser and went into urgent care with a fever and chest pain. The doctor didn’t even look at me and just stared at the chart, said it was pneumonia, gave me meds, and sent me home. I felt like cattle being rushed through. Turns out, I didn’t have pneumonia. I had blood clots in my lungs and was hospitalized for a month. I nearly died. Unbelievable I come in for very bad sore arm the receptionist says to me at. Check in” okay I'm putting you in with Dr….. The wait time is 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours so you have time to wait this was at close to1pm. I said yes, i called to get a same day appt. And they didn't have anything so she says yes we're a walk in only first come first serve. He Urgent Care was attentive, compassionate, and fast. I went in at 4:10 pm and was out of there with treatment and care by 5:20 pm
