I took my dad to the urgent care on Feb 23, 2025 for splinters he couldn’t remove on his own. He got them while he was gardening because he was wearing cheap gardening gloves. The doctor who saw him never checked nor felt his hand for the splinters. She ordered a x-ray which didn’t show anything. She gave him antibiotics for the infection the splinters caused him. If you have chest pains, make sure to tell them your foot hurts because they see simple injuries before chest pains. Too bad this is the only urgent care in miles we can use.
I was at urgent care on May 10, because my doctor suggested I go for my medical issue. The person that checked me in was very pleasant. The triage nurse was also nice. I waited close to 3 hours just to see a nurse practitioner who was rude and didn’t bother to check my medical record. She asked me a few questions and when I told her how long I’ve been experiencing the symptoms I have. She said “ if your problem was that serious you probably wouldn’t be alive “ .
