I am still waiting after 3 days for results of stat tests from urgent care! It took several messages for someone to call me back and tell me I could only get my results from urgent care, and they were closed! I was told to call back the next day because they were switching computer systems!
My appointment took 1 1/2 hours for a pretty simple procedure. I was left in a very chilly exam room for most of the time.
I try to avoid posting negative feedback publicly, however, my experience with Village Medical’s urgent care has shifted my perspective. I came down with the case of Shingles and went to my primary care doctor’s office and was told that they had no openings and was instructed to go to urgent care. The only time I’ve been able to see my doctor was for my initial consultation. I went to urgent care and they confirmed what I already knew, I have shingles. They gave me a prescription for an antiviral medication, and little else.... read more
I called yesterday because I had a wasp sting me near my eye and was experiencing swelling around my eye and cheek areas. The person asked what physician do I normally see - I couldn’t think and said I don’t know. She said they couldn’t see me since I didn’t have a physician. I asked if I should call 911. She replied she couldn’t give medical advice? I’ve been to this urgent care several times in the past for asthmatic reactions with no issues, so something must have changed.
