Review of Urgent Care for Kids I recently visited Urgent Care for Kids and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Billing Issues: Upon arrival, the front desk staff charged us $17, despite us informing them that we had met our out-of-pocket maximum and our insurance was covering the visit. The staff member seemed unfamiliar with billing procedures and was unable to resolve the issue. I had to speak with another employee who thankfully understood the situation and issued a refund. We have taken our son to this urgent care twice, both times we have had a good experience. The first time, like any place there are forms that need to be filled out, but once you’re in their system it’s a speedy process. You can check in online as well. The nurses and nurse practitioner are great and I also like that they only treat children. I would definitely recommend this urgent care to any parent.
