There’s nothing more hopeless or depressing then being turned away while in an immediate crisis despite begging for help. As long as the system continues to fail those who need help there will always be a mental health crisis in America. Do better.

Called hotline for a crisis and was put on hold. Person who picked up was extremely rude and impatient, and got constantly annoyed at me for answering questions she kept asking. Didn't treat anything with care, respect, or human decency. I don't know if it's because they legally have to be like that, but either way, it was rude and disheartening. Get help elsewhere.

This place has a very positive atmosphere. I have referred many people to go there for evaluations and if they run out of their medication’s, they are able to go there and get medication’s by getting a prescription and they are sent to another location where they can get their meds for free until they are able to either get into a psychiatrist or via also a therapist on the outside if they don’t have Medical they will help you fill out paperwork to get medical assistance. Dr. Able kept talking in circles and didn't understand half of what we were telling him we needed. Also if you need ADA paperwork signed, he'll refuse. They'll throw medication at you and tell you to be on your way. And they won't even properly send the medication dosage to the pharmacy. Front desk staff were great tho. That's the only reason it gets a star.
