This is ridiculous they usually are quick but it appears that they have the slow doctors today. This is not good .
Walked in with a Hernia. For this "non-urgent" surgery, I'm told it will be about a 1 year wait. There's, no mention of the doctor's office / surgeon performing it, nor how to follow up. "You might get a call within the next year" Canada's healthcare, it's really, really, bad.
This is usually my go to place since there are no real walk-in clinics in Kingston anymore other than one downtown the students basically use. I find the HDH staff are pretty friendly, but over burdened due to the collapsing health care system. It's not their fault the system is broken and they are overworked. I find they rush a lot and often overlook things, or don't run necessary tests when needed. But, it's still the best place to go in Kingston for minor issues.
I got there. They took me right in to the emergency department.I sat for about five minutes and they called me in.They looked at but there was nobody there.I waited five hours for a doctor to come.Look at me before they could do anything for me
