This office is taking advantage of the system and double dipping in their profits. They collect up front, bill your insurance without letting the insurance company know they’ve collected upfront and then expect a co-pay, depending on your insurance type. By taking money up front the urgent care is in breach of contract with Anthem Blue Cross.
