My husband and I went to Urbane Cafe in Clairemont for the first time today around noon. I wanted to take a moment to recognize Leila, who was handling the register, managing the dining area, and expediting orders. While waiting for our lunch, we noticed how attentive she was to the entire restaurant—greeting incoming guests, clearing patio tables, packaging takeout orders, and running food to tables. Their food is incredible! I highly recommend eating here. Consistently good
The sandwich was really good and tasted fresh. I liked that the bread was soft and the ingredients didnt feel like they had been sitting around all day. The portions were decent too, so I left feeling full without spending a ton. Service was friendly and pretty quick, even though there were a few people ahead of me. Nothing overly fancy, just a solid sandwich and a good experience overall. I’d come back again when I’m in the area and would probably try one of their other sandwiches next time.
