He sold me a garden tractor with snoblower and mower deck built with salvaged parts and represented it to be a very good performer. The first day the axle broke, engine failed, total junk. Unrepairable and useless. Beware.
Took in mower around beginning of may. They gave back a non working mower, I gave it back to be repaired, it's almost march, can't get a call back and they still have my tractor!
I believe they were located originally in Jackson, MI. They probably took down their original Facebook page (Urbandale small engine repair) because of the bad reviews on it. I bought a scooter from them and had lots of problems with it from the start. Firstly, he sold me the scooter under the premise that it was new but it had already been registered with the Sec. of State. I paid $800 which is what they sell new scooters for. Great work and the prices are more than fair!
I took him my scooter that was not starting, he's said it was the carb and charged me $100 for labor but no carb on the shelf. Bought my own and had the same issue. I took it back to him and he said it had low compression and needed a complete top end rebuild for $200 because it had low compression. When I asked how low it was he said "well I didn't really test it, I used my thumb over the spark plug hole" A terrible repairman and a terrible businessman.
