First I cut my band myself and unsatisfied, so I went to that place hoping the lady could do something good to it and trim the neck too. She first tried to persuade me to spend extra $$ on doing layers, and after failed, she did a straight cut around the neck and spend 5 SECONDS on my front band!!! I am visiting Boulder for a week and really wanted to treat myself to a nice new cut and highlights. I found a groupon for a cut and highlights online to this place. Ivon, the owner of the shop, was so kind and genuine when I walked in to the studio. It is a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. After trying a half dozen salons, this is my go-to spot for a men's cut. Norka is very receptive in helping me find my look (often inspired by Brad Pitt) . She happily cuts and texturizes until I absolutely love what I see. Best value: prices are only a little more than budget hair cuts e.g. cost-cutters with a much better result, and lower than most salons. I generally call ahead an hour ahead and determine the best time to avoid a wait.

Great for college students, since the price is fair and the haircut is quick and easy. The stylist knows how to trim to your preference. She gives coupons and even sells environmentally friendly products.

I found this place online and made an appointment because of the overall good reviews. When I arrived for my appointment a couple of minutes early, the place was locked up with a note saying she would be back soon. I stood outside in the cold for several minutes past my appointment time until she finally returned.
