Completely Unsatisfied I've been taking my dog there for over a year now. The last time I took my dog there to be groomed the owner promised that she would personally do it. Well, either she has lost her grooming ability or she had someone that didn't know what they were doing cut my dog's hair instead. I'm not sure if my dog even had a bath. Best groomer in town I have literally been to EVERY dog groomer in B.A. Mona's Urban Paw Spa is the best. My dog, a service dog, is difficult to groom due to an unruly coat. After taking my girl here the first time, she was beautiful AND (unlike after other grooming appointments elsewhere) happy. Other groomers terrified my dog and/or butchered her coat and skin. RESPONSE I have been employeed at the Urban Paw Spa for sometime now. One of these post above (Im not going to point out which post... you will know) is from an unhappy past employee from the shop. This person was not "shorted" pay she was paying back her employeer for damaged property that she caused while working at the Urban Paw Spa. Our clients are extremely "thrilled" with the fact that we give ANY and ALL dogs that enter the shop with fleas or ticks a "pill" (the exact name is capstar) and this cuts down on the spread ... read more
Greatest Dog Spa EVER!!!!! Best place ever!!! My puppy loves everyone there and they are such kind people. Also, the owner bakes FRESH dog treat every week for sale. All at really affordable prices :) . I have been to PetsMart and to Sloopy Dog Wash and more and nothing compares to the service that you get here. I will never go anywhere else, ever! I mean, come on... fo $20 I can get a bath, nails clipped, teeth brushed and a trim + all day daycare while I am at work. And for a little more they will deliver my puppy to work ... read more
Nice place My experience was they were professional and the place was clean they liked animals to me this was important. They have been doing it a while to me that was another plus experience. They specialize in dog grooming. They put cute bows n the hair when they are done. They offer great rates. I would recommend them.
