I had a great experience at Urban Nail Spa in Metrotown! The salon was clean, organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. My nail technician paid close attention to detail and made sure my nails were shaped evenly and looked exactly how I wanted. Decided to give a mall salon a try. Came in for a pedicure for regular polish, lady said she’d charge extra $5 to remove gelX. My nail shape was originally square and now THEY ARE I DONT EVEN KNOW WTH…..am I DISAPPOINTED YES but for $45 I can understand the level of service. Also, since I did regular polish had to sit in salon for 1hr for it to dry which I get no issues. Overall, I will NOT return and I will stick with my original nail salon in DT van. Their manipedi is the best I’ve ever been to! Always a good experience!!!
I came back because the French tip was done beautifully the first time. Both times, the service felt unprofessional, and the staff seemed easily irritated. The nail work was good, but the spa pedicure was not fully completed. Sadly, I won’t be returning.
