I just got my first haircut at Urban Monk with Mandi and am super happy with the whole process and outcome. I got Mandi’s number from their website and texted her to schedule. I really wanted to go here since moving to the area and I booked with Caitlyn for a butterfly cut. After going home and styling it myself I realized the layers were completely uneven on both sides. The manager here was very reasonable and helpful on the phone and convinced me to go back to her to get it fixed. When I got there she was late to my appointment. I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxing and professional atmosphere of the salon. I got my haircut by Marcos Valencia, who did a great job with my hair. He listened to my preferences and was a great conversationalist which made my time in the barber’s chair fly by. Ask for him!
