Terrible Company. Fast forward 3 years. Urban Homes IMPROPERLY INSTALLED a high end integrated refrigerator in my kitchen renovation ! A Liebherr refrigerator rep came to my apt. without even opening the refrigerator to assess the problem with it, informed me that it was IMPROPERLY INSTALLED !!!!! Made me pull out manual installation guide and very obviously was 100% correct. I was thrilled to purchase environmentally friendly cabinets from Urban Homes New York. They are absolutely beautiful, well made and have really increased the value of my space. I wish I could be so positive on my actual experience with Urban Homes New York Kitchen and Bath Design . The delivery and installation was late and found it difficult to resolve problems with my installation after my cabinets and payment where made. Best Value, Contractors were a DREAM, would work with them again in a heartbeat. – We did a gut renovation of our kitchen and used UHNY for both the sourcing of hardware and the contracting work. To me, there were three things that posed a challenge in this project: Working with our building (nightmare), having good materials at a reasonable cost and working with us (also a nightmare compounded by the fact that my wife was due with our second child near the end of the project timeline). I truly recommend . – spent most of the winter looking around New York City at kitchens showrooms and I was looking for European kitchen cabinets .I selected Urban Homes (this showroom is a small one but must-see ) .Their staff are extremely professional and from the beginning of the process right through the installation I truly recommend this Urban Homes.

Great product, horrendous service – Urban Homes undoubtedly makes a very nice product. Their prices are reasonable for New York City and the materials used are top of the line. However, the company is far too small for the number of jobs they take on. They are dreadfully slow throughout construction and unresponsive to emails and phone calls, their workers are disrespectful to the area surrounding the construction site (they made no attempt to clean the area or keep dust and dirt from invading the rest of the apartment), and... read more
