I was living at Woodland Park Apartments which was one of the cheapest places to live in the Des Moines Metro, I had a studio apartment that had smoke damaged floors and a sloppily painted bathroom, but it was close to where I worked. They were bought out by Legacy which are apartment managers under the Optimum Reality umbrella, which over sees this property also. When they took over I was hoping for some changes. Supposedly lost the Money Order I gave them for my rent. When I checked the status on it, it was cashed August 16th. I did what I was supposed to do and needed to do, but am still being held responsible for their misplacement and negligence. If you have the choice and the money find somewhere that won't treat you as if you're stupid or a criminal.
Horrible experience! Tina the manager is very racial to other races. I am in the middle of a law suit with her. Save your money you can find better. Also there is a very lot of bugs in these apartments l year round. I have pictures of you want to see!
Cannot explain the situations that have happened or heard from old neighbors that haven't been kicked out yet because of the poor management. I'm glad that my mom quit her job when she did before the sale was complete, etc. etc.
