I purchased a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger Slant 6 in 2005 for $1400. Needless to say the car need a lot of work. After looking for a shop that handled Classic cars I found Urban Classics. Based on the name, the cars in the lot and the owner I thought I had located the right shop that would help me with the restoration of my car. Was I wrong!! In my experience, these guys are fair and reasonable and that is saying a lot about an automotive repair shop. Dave is always willing to spend time explaining the issues and also figuring out the most cost-effective way to handle my occasional repairs.
Great Service, Fair Prices – I recently brought my car in to Urban Classics and I have to say they took great care of me. They provided me with quick and impeccable service and prices were very fair. Comedy of Errors – Other reviewer nailed it. Unfortunately, if you have a clssic car, this seems to be the only place around that has a chance of fixing it. They never, ever fix it right the first time, very frustrating. The good news is that they will probably actually fix it eventually.
Nice and honest but..... – I had to bring my car back several times to get the same problem resolved. David the owner is very nice but became more and more unavailable as the problem dragged on. After more then 3 weeks in the shop and several misdiagnosed attempts to fix the problem, the cost ended up being twice the original estimate. ic
