The young lady that helped me was wonderful, totally understood what I was trying to accomplish.
This store lacks basic customer service, Employee training is lack luster. Due to limited options, I am forced to deal with this store, quite often, even after complaining to corporate about how my clients were being treated consistently. On a recent trip into the store, two staff members stood by chatting while watching me struggle with a handful of goods that were not put into bags or offered to be put in the bags I might add, while I came in and out of the door to fill my car. Lovely place. Feel like I could live in the store. Well thought out placement of products. Seamless and the staff are very warm and welcoming without being in your face. That’s nice to see and be part of.
i ordered the Joyce Velvet coverlet on December 1st, I was notified yesterday that item was no longer available - 10 days after order was processed! I checked site and item is still showing available, I questioned this and was advised that some items are only available to certain customers eg: an item might only be available to customers in the east and western customers are not able to purchase - WHAT???? No longer an URBAN BARN customer.
Frustrating to say the least, we received a phone message saying the sofa and chair we were interested in was going on sale until Dec 5th. We then discussed the purchase and phoned back on Dec 5th, and were told that the sale was over on the 4th. When I played back the voice message the person on the end of the call said his manager says were too late. After pushing them, they reluctantly agreed to give me the sale price, but we were selecting the sofa with the upgraded foam and anti stain fabric, the guy just said he didn't... read more
