Good was decent, The staff was very kind and helpful. Went with the family and enjoyed our visit. Good could have been better for the price.
Amazing Brunch on Weekends from 9 am - 2 pm! I had the Dutch Babies (miniature German Pancakes), my Spouse had a Fritata. We both had, what I like to call, an Appetizer Biscuit (because it came before the meal) that was hot, fresh from the oven, and so flakey that we had to use a fork to eat them. Unfortunately the place shut down for good on January 22, 2017.
Quite a different spot compared to what it used to be while keeping just a bit of the McGraths DNA. John pulled off a new concept in a way that is needed and welcome in Salem. The salad and hand made cocktail my wife had were certainly enjoyed. I am a fan of the fish and chips but would suggest a bit thinner of a batter. Will be back for sure.
Second chance. No better than the first. It's okay for easily impressed foodies but the 'locally sourced' single stick of brown edged celery that came with the three little carrot sticks and chicken wings was so, so, very sad. The plain wings (and I doubt those chickens were slaughtered today at a local farm) were very good. The mildest of the two wing sauces availabe was perfect because I like blazing hot spicy things. My parents and I decided to try this place out after hearing from other people that it was a good place for a hearty meal. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. I had the Chicken and Waffles (call me a sucker for southern food). The waffles were perfect, even with the inclusion of beer to the batter. A little weird at first but then you realize how much everything clicks together in your mouth. My Dad had the poutine which arguably was something I wish I would have ordered.
