Looking at all the reviews on Dr. Speranza, you see one star or five stars, why is this? People love her or hate her. I think the difference is what is insurance you have. If you have good insurance, Dr.Speranza is the doctor for you, she will be attentive and you will get great care. If you have subsided insurance, Medicaid, she will ghost you and you will not see her or have communications with her. You will get subpar care. It’s all about insurance reimbursement
I strongly urge anyone considering Dr. Spranza's care to run in the opposite direction. My experience with her and her office was the worst I've ever had with a doctor and left me traumatized. The correct procedure should have been a full fistulotomy, but instead, she performed a seton placement without even examining the area, likely because it was easier for her. Upon arrival at Sawgrass, the anesthesiologist dismissed my requests for lighter medication due to my fibromyalgia and endometriosis, even laughing at my concerns... read more
If I could give no stars I would. Legally I may not be able to fight you,but morally speaking I will. I am having my second prolapse surgery with another surgeon as Dr. Speranza office ignored me till I was forced to go to the ER twice noting i was over emotional.... no thats called pain....I went to another surgeon after I was made to send texts of my prolapse. I was treated worse than a dog from her staff and Strong PR do better ignoring phone calls and dehumanizing people is wrong. Run don't walk from this office. Also to... read more

I was diagnosed with medical PTSD after being treated by Dr Speranza. When I was hooked up with an IV and ready to go into the operating room, she came out in her scrubs and asked me to sign a form. She explained that if my pain was 13 now, " it's going to be at 20 tonight, " she had me sign a form that said no matter how bad the pain got, she would not prescribe any painkillers other than Tylenol, and under no circumstances would she admit me to the hospital for pain.
