12/16/24: On 12/13/24, I walked in & asked for an appointment. The excellent lady at the front desk made one for me for Monday the 16th. She put it in MyChart. I went there on the 16th & checked in with the same front desk lady, who was friendly & professional. I only waited a few minutes when the nice professional technician came out to get me. If you’re looking for an ophthalmologist go somewhere else. You wait over two hours to get in. Why wait so long here when there are other options. In 2024 there is no reason to wait in a waiting room over two and a half hours. Go somewhere where they respect their patients and their time.
Absolutely terrible. I am chronically ill and have been to many doctors, I have been to other UofR facilities and have had amazing experiences so I am appalled at how this place treats me and other patients. During my time here doctors: quoted studies incorrectly and tried to use those incorrectly quoted studies to diagnose me, told me to “loose weight” without actually providing guidance on how to do so or healthily keep it off, or why that would improve my condition. Initially, my experience was great. The salesman I worked with helped me out and was very nice. I had gone in because two pair of glasses from Warby Parker had not fit so I wanted to try another business. I placed my order on 7/24. On 8/16 I called into the store to see if the glasses had come in or not bc I had not got any update, the glasses were there so I went into the store later that afternoon.
