Very good experience at UR Family Practice. The physiotherapist carefully assessed my lower back and hip pain and explained that the muscles were tight. She showed me several helpful exercises and made sure I understood how to do them correctly. Professional and friendly service. Highly recommended.
Wait time over an hour. I said I needed a whooping cough vax as part of the booking which they didn’t even stock so I was sent to the chemist to collect first and then had to go back and wait again. Someone ahead of my got so mad at the extended wait he left. Just not a good experience at all.
Booked for an appointment two days prior at 3.40, show up at 3.35, get told there's 20 minutes wait... One hour later I'm told there's still a patient in front of me. Front desk thinks that's just how it is, I can go to the emergency if I don't want to wait. Turns out their time is worth more than mine.
Whats the point in booking an appointment if you still make me wait over 1 hour? Safe to say this won't be my local gp.
Do not use if you are an overseas patient. Attended due to an ear infection requiring ear drops, I was visiting from the UK and staying nearby. The appointment was at 9am but wasn't seen until 10am. Appointment itself was fine, quick and straightforward. Paid upfront and asked at the time for a medical report to claim costs ($180) on insurance and was told to email for this.
