Dawn’s classes are so great! Just tried the sound healing and that was an amazing experience! The yoga classes are well-paced and she does a great job of giving cues and giving modifications.
I didn’t know I loved yoga till this class! I started going for a gentle workout postpartum, and I kept going for how it made me feel, physically and emotionally. Im now a proud graduate of UFD 200hour yoga teacher training, graduated at the start of the pandemic, and I’m so grateful to have learned these skills to help myself and others through some rather stressful times. Can’t recommend this studio enough!
I have been doing yoga with Dawn at Upward Facing Dawn for a few years now. It's so hard to find a yoga studio that teaches Hatha style yoga. Dawn's teachings are well-rounded with all aspects of yoga principals and poses. This is the whole package. I always learn something new and feel absolutely fantastic after each session. Dawn is a treasure in the yoga world, plus she is a very caring and lovely person, as well.
Dawn is the best yoga instructor I’ve ever had. She’s knowledgeable but not pushy. Kind. Funny. Every class is different and delightful!
