Fantastic Find – I am VERY picky and hard to please when it comes to my hair. I have been a client for almost two years now and I love this salon. Josh always does exactly what I want and my hair gets compliments all the time. Everyone there is very attentive and friendly. Great cuts and color!!! – This salon is great! I have been going there for years and have always loved my cuts and color. I first went to Craig to correct a horrible color accident (self-inflicted) He was so kind and so careful not to damage my hair further. I have tried other salons from time to time but always go back to Craig and wonder why I EVER went anywhere else. not always so professional – In my search for a stylist in a new town I was given the phone number and Chucks name. When calling I was put on hold for a long time, and when asking questions regarding my hair and prices and so forth, I was treated with a little less than professionalism. I guess they were too busy for my questions, and hurried and standoffish is not what I look for in a salon. I can not attest to the stylist first hand because I wouldnt even let it go that far.

uptown Retreat Salon and Spa – I love uptown retreat! The people there are very friendly and know how to make you feel special. I have never had a better cut or color. Chuck Smith has been doing my hair for 10 years and is one of the most kind and caring people that you will ever meet. He is a master at hair color. Craig, Josh and Michelle are all very educated in hair color and cutting. Try Uptown Retreat and you won't be disappointed.

Great Experience...Great Stylist(s)... – I work uptown and pass Uptown Retreat each time I make my Venti Mocha pick up @ Starbucks. :) I really wanted highlights and I wanted them done RIGHT so I stopped by to see if anyone there had experience with "ethnic" hair first of all and to see who did color best. Disappointed!!!!! – Chuck is a gifted hair stylist, that I have to admit. But respect and caring about people is just as important to me and I'm disappointed to know that Chuck and his caring conversation are nothing more than a actor on a stage. Don't think for one minute that this place, owners or staff, care about you or your continued visits. You are just dollars and nothing more!
