I applied almost 1year ego for 1 room apartment, I was pre approved(?) and deposit $ 350.00 to be hold on placed an a waiting list. since that day I have never ear from nobody. In the last 2 months I have made several calls, send more than 3 emails and nobody from this company respond, sees to me that they do not care, they take advantage of the seniors. The apartments are very nice and the grounds are well kept. Overall this is a very safe place to live for my mother. This big issue with this place is the office staff who work on-site. They are unprofessional, lack sympathy and compassion, and are widely disliked by the residents. The elevator constantly has issues which traps elderly senior residents on their apartment floors. Not a nice place fit for any seniors! The hallways are all dirty and dusty, will stains along the floors and spider webbs strug from the ceilings. The stairwells obviously haven't been cleaned for many years as I've literally seen the same trash, loose tabacco, and lizard skeletons for the past 6-7 years that my grandmother has lived there. I have enjoyed living at Uptown Maitland. It is secure, quiet and clean. I especially appreciate our maintenance staff, Josh and Ambi are friendly and very quick to respond and resolve my maintenance concerns. They are reliable and get things done quickly and efficiently.
