I previously left a 1-star review based on my experience with the prior management team, but I believe in giving credit where it’s due. Since the management change, the difference has been night and day. The new team has been responsive, professional, and proactive about addressing concerns. Uptown has been wonderful! Mildred and Missy were such great help getting us settled in our new apartment!!
Shuree from maintenance was great. I had pre exsisting issues, she new what was wrong and fixed multiple things on the spot. Even made an appointment with me instead of just coming in when I'm not home. Perfect experience, thanks Uptown
TLDR: $7500 to move out, Extremely rude staff, rent is too much for what you receive back, the grounds and breezeways are unkempt, and they will nickel and dime you to death. Absurdly unfair if you are a well-behaved, civil tenant. The buyout fee was $3637.50, the bill was $3746.63, $109 up charge. 2 months of rent + last months utilities, $1650x2=$3,300.00 +$200(utilities and fees) additional $3500 total added to the buyout.
