Great choice of fabric and classes
I started coming to Uptown Blanco Textile Studio when I retired earlier this year and I just love the shop and all the girls! They are very knowledgeable and very helpful and everyone makes you feel like you are part of the shop. I have taken some classes and learned a lot in the world of quilting. Their materials are high quality fabrics. I'll keep coming to Uptown Blanco Textile. Love the place and the girls! Linda Hunter

Uptown Blanco Textile Studio is a wonderfully warm and welcoming quilt shop. The fabrics are beautiful and and supplies are plentiful. Ruth Johnson, Manager, and Kathy made me feel right at home, and they are so knowledgeable about many facets of quiltmaking. I enjoyed meeting quilters who came to visit and share their quiltmaking journeys, describe projects, and even met a darling 4-year old little girl who cannot only count pumpkins on a quilt, but she is hand sewing!
This place is my oasis! The folks are so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable - plus the selection of fabrics is HUGE!! The classes are fun, but mostly, I love to just pack up my machine and go spend time in the studio just to listen and learn from them.
Love this shop. Love taking classes here. The ladies are very helpful and friendly.
