I was a walk-in today and glad I did! Spencer is awesome! Gave me an excellent cut. He took his time and asked great questions and my hair looks amazing!! Go see Spencer! I am newer to St Pete and been looking for a barber shop. I highly recommend getting a haircut here! It’s gorgeous inside and staff are wonderful!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Taylor at Uptown Barbershop, and I can honestly say she’s one of the best barbers around. Her professional, detail-oriented, and always takes the time to make sure I leave with a perfect cut. The atmosphere in the shop is welcoming and laid-back, and Taylor really makes you feel like a valued customer. If you’re looking for a barber who truly knows her craft and takes pride in his work, I highly recommend Taylor at Uptown Barbershop!

I worked for Uptown barber bar from June 2024 to August 2025 and During that time, I completed all of my responsibilities as agreed. Unfortunately, I was not paid for the work I performed or my tips for weeks, despite multiple attempts to follow up and resolve the matter directly with the employer. The lack of payment and communication created a very unprofessional experience. Five stars for Uptown Barber Bar—especially Taylor. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and nailed the details. I loved my cut, and both of my teenage sons booked with her afterward and were equally happy. We’ll be back regularly. Highly recommend asking for Taylor.
