I truly LOVE this business! I wouldn't think of taking my car to anyone else in the area. This repair shop is operated by people who understand the value of honesty and integrity. They also understand the value of fair pricing. They don't nickel and dime on the billing. In fact, Nasser has thrown in small free-bees, and never even mentioned it. Worth the trip – My parents have been going to Uptown Auto since before I could drive. Now I do the same. Nasser works on the cars while Nasrine handles the details of the business. It is hard not to get to know and like these two. I've known them for as long as I've been getting into scrapes with my car, many years. Nasrine has never made me feel uncomfortable in the slightest. Uptown Auto- best repair shop in Austin – sean5545 doesn't know what he is talking about. He obviously was a person with an axe to grind before he walked into Uptown Auto. Nasser and Nasrine are the two most trustworthy and reliable business people I've ever dealt with. Angry Arab Woman at Receiption – I saw 5 stars rating on Uptown Auto, so I drove 30 miles trips and go see the shop before I let them do expensive repair to my Audi. There is very rude Arab woman at reception taking to me like I am her 6 years old son when I ask question on my Audi. She start talking to me like Suicide bomber black eyes. I am not joking. Highly recommend this shop. they were gonna charge me about $1000 at another place to replace a bunch of stuff. This guy got in the car with me for a drive, then told me he knew what it was. Fixed it within a day and charged me $100 cause it was a simple fix. With there was more mechanics like him!
If your main concern when you take your car in to be repaired is that you get the right repair at a fair price, this is the place to go. It's not fancy but, after taking my fleet of aging vehicles to Nassar for almost 15 years, I can say that he's never performed an unnecessary repair or failed to accurately diagnose and correct the problem.
