Warning!! RUN!! Uptown Denton Tx My daughter was injured after falling in a dimly lit stairwell, tried to call the 24 hr on call staff but no one answered. No security seen patrolling. No security cameras available on site to capture crappy construction crew that busted her windshield. Mismatched room mates with ones who smoked and partied and didnt attend college anymore. Why do I even bother with the internet service here at Uptown man!!! Us residents pay way too much damn money for crappy internet service that hasn’t been working well for almost 2 months now! Can’t even do my homework here half of the time and have to go to the library instead. I do not recommend. For any future residents of Uptown I would reconsider living here. It’s outright ridiculous. Don’t even get me started on the outrageous charges�
Uptown apartments is a great community with wonderful residents and an excellent staff. I don't have many problems with any appliances, but when I do, the maintenance crew is always on top of it! The staff is very caring and helpful. They put on many events for their residents and make sure we feel welcomed in the community. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for an apartment to stay at Uptown! For students, it is close to campus! And for non-students, anyone is welcome to stay.
So I personally believe an experience is what you make it. I personally have had a wonderful experiencs here at Uptown. Maintenance has been quick and effiecient. Staff has been more than kind and helpful. I have never felt unsafe to a point where I was worried, but I have met other that have a different experience. Some of the compalints they have I think are ridiculous. We are college kids in a college town. Of course its going to get noisy sometimes.
