I used to go to the Brittonfield Pkwy location in Radisson to see Dr. Edith Westphal. She was awesome. However, when that location closed and I had to start going to their location in Syracuse, it started going downhill. Dr. Westphal left the practice, and we were sent a message on the portal way the FOLLOWING month that we needed to reschedule. The staff of the office on the second floor (2G) is so nice (there’s two offices within the hospital). From check in to checkout, I wish I knew all their names to shout them out but really every single person I encounter is pleasant and helpful. Dr Makhlouf is wonderful, so kind and gentle. His energy is so calming which is perfect for me. And his nurse Makayla... So glad I have them on my care team!
I went to him to follow up after my open myomectomy procedure that I had in another state. First thing, his medical assistants are practicing out of their scope. They assessed me and tried to recommend a medical decision which is the RNs job. They are super rude and unkind. I was having so much pain post op that I thought I needed to go to a pain specialist. I’ve only had one appointment, Magdalene O'Boyle was wonderful. She throughly listened to my concerns and got me answers faster in a couple weeks than my old OB could in 7 months.
