I called Upstate Pediatric Speech Therapy Services and I was able to have my son seen quickly, there is often a long wait for specialists. Dr. Williamson was both kind and supportive and she listened to my concerns. The comprehensive report of Dr. Williamson's evaluation answered many questions for me as a mom seeking help for my son. I would highly recommend her for speech evaluations and services!
If you have a child on the autism spectrum I cannot recommend Upstate enough. The SLP's there are some of the strongest I have ever encountered. They are extremely knowledgeable, they genuinely want your child to succeed, and they have such a loving way to nudge your child/teen their fullest speech potential. Easy to get appointment and Dr Williamson and Danielle are knowledgeable in the services they provide.
Excellent place, my son had a very thorough assessment (like I never seen before being done by a therapist) that made me so happy because his goals are more challenging now and not cookie cutter like before. Weekly therapies are consistent and productive, I am also able to learn and witness the therapies so I can reinforce his therapies at home on the off days. I strongly recommend them!
